Wish you were there

A few things happening for Chips Cheese Gravy Media and Jason over the next week.

First is Blues Club on Wednesday night. As well as talented and professional musicians, you’ll get to hear some of this:

Head down to the Railway pub in Douglas – we’ll be there from 8pm or so, and Jason will be on hand to answer any questions about training courses and Chips Cheese Gravy Media.

Third Thursday

If your tastes run more towards tech, social media or networking, there’s also Third Thursday at Bar George. Owen Cutajar hosts this monthly gathering of anybody on the Isle of Man interested in science, technology, the internet and almost everything in between.

The informal lunch gets underway at midday, and again Jason will be there; this time with the business cards that arrived a day too late last time round.

There’s also a small business breakfast in Douglas on Wednesday with a short talk about CCG Media: a nervy time for someone who’s not used to having their audience in the same room!

Leaving party

Hope to see you at any of the above, if not at Rob Storey’s Hooded Ram brewery for Jason’s Manx Radio leaving do from 6pm on Friday.

And don’t forget – if you book your training course online (you can pay securely with a credit or debit card or with a Paypal account) then you get 33% off until the end of July!

  1. I was initially excited by this blog page, but then Imagine My Surprise when I realised that there were no chips, little cheese and definitely no gravy involved. Actually I prefer Chips and Curry (over) but that isn’t recognised as our National Dish.

I listened with great interest to the music clip. I thought the bass guitarist sounded masterful, but the whole thing was ruined by the sound of something resembling a steam locomotive whistle, no doubt from the adjoining Railway Station.

And why would you hood a ram? Does the MSPCA know?

Adrian, I’d be delighted to offer you training in proper nouns and capital letters, as well as a bass player’s rightful place in the heirachy of music! Thanks for stopping by, and double thanks for reading the post and taking the time to comment. Hopefully, I’ll see you on Friday when I can buy you a pint!
